Join us to learn all about how hydraulics work and discover where they can be found in the real world! This is the first of two hydraulics programs. Registration is separate for both. Tweens can attend either program, and no previous knowledge is necessary.

Registration opens Tuesday, March 5 at 10:00 am.

Afterschool Coding Club: Intro to 3D Printing

Friday, April 5

Want to learn about 3D printing technology and how to design 3D models and objects yourself? Join us for an afternoon of tinkering, thinking, and creating!

This program is open to tweens aged 8-12 and will feature a demonstrate of our 3D printer. Tweens will be working individually using Chromebooks and TinkerCad software.

Maximum of 12 tweens, registration opens Wednesday, March 27 at 10:00 am.

 

***Please note: This program is the same as the 3D Printing program from November. If your tween attended that program and had an objected printed with us, please consider waiting for a different 3D program in the future to allow for more tweens to have access to this technology and experience.

Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) Meeting

If you want to boss the library around, are a superstar event planner, have stellar skills for finding books, comics, dvds & more that teens will love that we can fill our shelves with, AND want free pizza - we want you! The YAC is a group of teens aged 13-18 who tell us at the library how we're doing as well as plan our monthly teen events.

Free pizza donated is by Domino's Pizza for every YAC meeting.
