The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is a volunteer group designed to let teens be a part of what happens at Penticton Public Library! With monthly meetings, the YAC works with Library staff (the Youth Services Technician) to create a variety of fun programs for teens, work on teen library projects and displays, and participate in other library volunteering opportunities.
Our Mission Statement
The Penticton Public Library's Youth Advisory Committee will create events to entertain teens. We will encourage teens to explore all aspects of the Library, and share what we do with the community. (P.S. We have free pizza.)
Any teen between the ages of 13-18 who lives or goes to school in Penticton can join! Right now we're recruiting, so be sure to click this link below to have a look at our application form:

The YAC meets once a month every second Friday (unless otherwise noted) from 3:30-4:30 pm in the Library Auditorium at 785 Main St (across from Pen High)
