Our Commitment to Accessibility

Public Libraries strive to be places where each diverse community can come together to imagine, create, learn, and grow. To support this vision, Penticton Public Library is committed to providing services in ways that respect the dignity and independence of individuals with differing abilities and demonstrate libraries are inclusive places. We welcome feedback from our patrons and community members, as it will accelerate and prioritize our ability to identify, prevent, and remove barriers to access and participation.

Give feedback on accessibility

Help us understand barriers people face when accessing library services.

This can be the physical space, transportation to/from the library (please note: we don't control bus schedules, but knowing you'd be interested would be good!), our website/catalogue, or anything else that is an accessibility concern.

Ways to provide feedback

Please make sure to include:

  • What you (or the person you are submitting for) were trying to access.
  • Where the barrier happened and what the barrier was.
  • Any recommendations you might have.
  • Any relevant photos, videos, or audio.

Online Form

Please note:

All questions are optional. You can share as much or as little as you want. Only a small number of Library staff will read the information you provide. We may share some of this information with other areas of government and/or other libraries to help them address barrier(s) to service. We will make every effort to protect privacy but can't guarantee total anonymity.

Submit your feedback through one of our online forms. Are you speaking for yourself, or on behalf of someone else? Please fill out the correct form:
