Tech Help Drop-In

The Penticton Public Library can help answer your computer and tech questions. Get one-on-one help in our drop-in sessions or book an appointment.

Examples of questions we can help with:

  • Getting to know your laptop, smartphone, or tablet
  • Emailing and texting family and friends
  • Using computer programs like Microsoft Word
  • Downloading and using different apps on your phone or tablet
  • Searching the internet or the library catalogue
  • Accessing the library’s online collection (books, movies and more)

Examples of questions we cannot help with:

  • Repairing or troubleshooting computer hardware or mobile devices
  • Removing viruses or malware
  • Online banking or shopping-related transactions
  • Desktop computers or unsupported e-readers
