Between the Covers Book Club and After Dark
are our two original book clubs. They read the same books, just at a different time. There are 5 fiction titles, and 4 non-fiction titles. The titles are voted on by the current participants, and the winning titles are discussed. The 'year' begins September, we skip December, and finish in June, with another break over July and August. As they read the same books, patrons may only sign-up for one group. If you are interested in getting on the waitlist for one of the bookclubs, please email Stephanie at: sjames@pentictonlibrary.ca.
Pride Pages
was started in January 2020, and had to be suspended until August 2022. This is run in partnership with SOS Pride. The group is intended for everyone, and demonstrates inclusivity, and joy for our community. This is a safe space for everyone to be respected and accepted for being themselves. Art of Reading
started in January 2023 in collaboration with the Art Gallery. Unfortunately, due to lack of staffing at the Art Gallery, we are unable to continue this program.
