Ever wanted to join a book club, but aren’t ready for that kind of a commitment? Want to find other readers and chat about books? Why not try: Book Talking!

Come to the Penticton Public Library reading room and discuss the books and genres you are loving (or not) in your recent reads! There is no required reading, just bookish conversation with great company. Talk about the books you’re reading, trade recommendations, and connect with other readers in a casual, unstructured book club environment!

Fiction and non-fiction enthusiasts alike are welcome. All mentioned titles will be shared in a reading list afterwards.

This is a drop-in program and everyone is welcome! You are welcome to bring a warm beverage, as long as it has a lid.
