- The Library has a limited number of CD players for loan for CDs and MP3s.
Building Accessibility
Penticton Library/Museum building has an automatic door opener at the entrance located by the large parking lot. There are ramps, both outside and indoors in addition to stairs. We have a manual wheelchair available inside the library, for anyone who needs to borrow one while they visit us.
Public washrooms are available inside the west entrance requiring key access. Please ask the security guard to let you in. Public washrooms are equipped with wide stalls and hand rails.
Transportation
The Penticton Library is accessible by city bus. The nearest bus stop is on Main Street conveniently located in front of the building. Unfortunately, the closest doors do not have an automatic button, and you will have to go to the door off the large parking lot to have an automatic door. (Please write to the city, asking for this to be fixed!)
If you can't make it into the library, we offer a homebound delivery service. Give us a call at 250-770-7781 or send an email to: homebound@pentictonlibrary.ca!
